• Actor Mahesh Babu was born in Chennai to Telugu film actor Ghattamaneni Siva Rama Krishna and Indira Devi on August 9, 1975.

• It is too early for this superstar to work on screen in Tollywood, he started film career at age of 4 for the film Needa (1979).

• His educational qualification reads, B.com from Loyola College, Chennai after which he directly stepped into movies as a hero! His Debut Film was Rajakumarudu released on July 30, 1999.

• Seven Nandi Awards are in his bag and more to add, he won 4 Nandi awards for best acting [ Raja Kumarudu, Nijam ,Athadu and Dookudu] and three are special jury awards[Murari, Takkari Donga and Arjun]! He also won four Filmfare awards for his acting in Pokiri, Okkadu,  Dookudu and SVSC.
